Dark gray heavy-duty plastic humidity tray with raised feet comes with Red lava rock (pumice stone). The rock has been imported from Israel and is shipped from Mount Arrat. The stone gets its dark color from the iron ore deposits usually found in mountain regions. A hole was made in the rock only to see that the bottom of the stone was flat. The porous lava rock however will serve the same purpose of a bonsai pot. The humidity tray, which is provided, is there to serve as a drip tray to prevent any stain or damage to table’s surface.
The Humidi-Growis is the humidity tray, which allows one to use pots with drain holes. With this you need not fear of excess water pouring out and damaging your costly furniture. The excess water overflowing will pass through this pot and get accumulated in the tray. The settled water will evaporate and help nullify the water loss by transpiration (Transpiration is the loss of moisture through the leaves).
