Important Bonsai Supply Tools

A Bonsai needs many things in order for them to grow the way you want them to.  The miniature size of bonsai trees is not because of any genetic plant makeup or a result or any genetic plant mutation.  They are not also limited to a variety of plant or to one type of plant. Any plant could be a bonsai given the proper “training” and the proper tools, a plant can be transformed into a beautiful miniature or bonsai version.  That is why a grower must have a wide range of supplies stocked in his house or garden.

Your bonsai supply should consist of the tools, gadgets and all the necessary things that a bonsai enthusiast must have.  Some of these supplies include: copper wires or any kind of wire for bending and guiding bonsai growth, rakes, branch benders or branch jacks, pots, root picks, brushes for trunk cleaning, saws for cutting branches, soil scoops for placing soil in the pot, soil sieves, fertilizers, water sprays for watering bonsais, shears, chisels, turntables, tweezers and moss for top soil cover.

An amateur grower does not necessarily have to acquire all these supplies for him/her to grow a bonsai.  Just the most important supplies are needed. A novice cultivator must just have the most important tools and the most important things in his bonsai supply.  Items for a beginner bonsai grower may include a shear, a concave cutter, some moss, a pot, a mini-sprinkler or spray for watering the bonsai and some wire for bending and training the bonsai.  If you do not have any supplies or just even the basic ones, it will be difficult for you to attain and cultivate a bonsai plant. Sure you could improvise but it is still suggested that you invest for a good pair of shears and some basic tools and bonsai supplies for you to get started.
